Process / Procedure

  • On the day of the puja, the devotee has to fast. After bathing the person can begin the puja. In this puja, people worship by reciting the gracious story of Lord Satyanarayana, this story was told by Lord Vishnu himself to the sage Narada for the benefit of humankind. He is another form of Lord Vishnu. He has four hands with Sankha, chakra, gada and padma (Lotus). The Pujas to Satyanarayan and Katha path is performed in reverence to the Narayan form of Lord Vishnu. The Lord in this form is considered an embodiment of truth. This puja and Katha Path is conducted to ensure abundance and peace in ones life.

  • 4-5 Hours (Includes time for both preparation for Puja and actual Puja.)
